A Celebration of Culture and Unity

Durga Puja is not merely a festival for us Bengalis; it is a beautiful blend of spirituality, culture, and rejuvenation that connects us to our roots while inspiring us to embrace the future.

At the heart of Kandivali East’s Thakur Complex, Oikyotan stands as a vibrant symbol of this spirit of togetherness. Bringing together more than 50 families from diverse backgrounds, Oikyotan creates a harmonious community where traditions come alive through celebrations such as Durga Puja, Kojagari Laxmi Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Bengali New Year, Rabindra Jayanti, and Basant Utsav. These occasions are more than cultural events—they are cherished moments that strengthen bonds, preserve our heritage, and bring people together in an atmosphere of joy and belonging.

Oikyotan is more than a cultural club; it is a community driven by compassion, kindness, and a deep sense of social responsibility. Alongside celebrating our rich cultural heritage, we remain committed to supporting charitable, social, educational, and medical causes, extending a helping hand to those in need. Our vision is to create a legacy that goes beyond festivals—a legacy rooted in humanity, empathy, and collective growth. Oikyotan invites everyone to become part of this journey, where tradition meets togetherness, celebration meets service, and a club becomes a family, a home, and a shared purpose.
